Gears of War Movie Set

Further details have emerged around the forthcoming Gears of War movie, with producer Wyck Godfrey recently stating that the film is on course for a summer 2010 release.

Speaking to ComingSoon.net, Godfrey said, "We've got our script on and a director we're about to attach. We'll hopefully make that early next year for the summer of 2010."

It's already been confirmed that Pirates of the Caribbean scribe Stuart Beattie will be behind the script, working with the game's lead designer Cliff Bleszinski on the adaptation of the bestselling Xbox 360 title that is to receive a sequel later this year.

Personally, if done right, I'm all for a Gears of War movie. This movie could be totally amazing, but then again, if put in the wrong hands or given bad casting, could suck balls.
IGN.com did a fantasy casting of this movie a year and a half ago when GOW was blowing up on the 360.
Here's who they thought would make a good movie. I don't agree with them 100 percent, but who would you guys recommend for the lead stars?

Naw, I'd Much Rather See Bil Moseley, He's A Good Smartass. ^_^

Yeah Terry Crews would be awesome in that role.
